The New Normal
Talks
2020 was one of the most challenging years the world has faced in recent years. The COVID-19 crisis has affected the world globally in ways that currently living generations cannot remember. At present, Europe is facing a second wave of the pandemic, and it seems that the virus will be with us in 2021 as well. This situation has forced us to change almost every aspect of our lives while still unaware of this crisis’s long-term consequences. We аccept this challenge as an opportunity to rethink the way we live by starting a discussion on the essential urban topics, which have been affected by the pandemic — public spaces, city planning, mobility, education, culture, arts, work-life, and sustainability. For each topic, we will invite one European and one Bulgarian to discuss how things might change, the challenges, and the possibilities for our society.
The New Normal talks are carried out with the partial support of the Criticism Program of the National Culture Fund.
